As Microsoft is transitioning from Basic Authentication to Modern Authentication you may see issues arise with your connection to Outlook 365. If you your emails are not sending,if your calendar is not syncing or if you are having any issues with your connection to Outlook, it is most likely due to the change that Microsoft is making.
For more information regarding this change please read this Microsoft Article: Deprecation of Basic authentication in Exchange Online
Read the steps below to see what to do when your facing syncing issues
STEP 1
Ask your Firm IT to configure your App Permissions following the steps in this article: Centerbase App Permissions
Ensure that your IT has clicked on "Grant Admin Consent"
STEP 2
Have a Firm Admin open up an Incognito Tab on Chrome(CTRL + Shift +N). Once the tab is open, go to your Centerbase Site and log in as normal. Once logged in go to System Settings > Mail Server Settings. From here you will click on "Connect Office 365", we recommend that you use a general firm email here.
Once you have connected, you can leave the Incognito Tab and go back to your normal tab/window. If you are already not logged out of Centerbase, log out and log back in. Go back to System Settings > Mail Server Settings and Check to see that all settings were saved.
** The steps above only applied to a Firm Admin, steps below will need to be completed by all users at the Firm. Moving forward all users will need to have their personal Office 365 synced to Centerbase **
Go to User Settings > Email. Uncheck "Enable Outgoing Mail settings". If this is already unchecked, continue to step 5.
Within User Settings go to the Office 365 tab and then have the User connect to Office 365 here.
