PROBLEM:
A user is trying to send from Centerbase and the following email message occurs:
- Error: 5.2.252 SendAsDenied; EMAIL not allowed to send as EMAIL; STOREDRV.Submission.Exception:SendAsDeniedException.MapiExceptionSendAsDenied; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message
SOLUTION:
This error occurs when the Alias Authorization is not connected with Centerbase. With new changes made to the email due to modern authorization being utilized in Centerbase, users will need to connect the alias account in their user settings.
To accomplish this, open up an Incognito window. This can be done in Google Chrome by clicking on the three dots (or the ellipsis) in the upper right hand corner, then select "New Incognito Window".
Once there, log into Centerbase. Click on "settings" in the lower left hand corner and select "Office 365". If your Office 365 is connected, there should be an option to add an alias called "Alias Authorization".
Click on the green "Connect" button and log in to the alias email account. This will let Centerbase know that your email in Centerbase is allowed to send from the alias email.
If you have any further questions regarding this process, please contact support.
