A common problem using Windows File Explorer is that a folder will not display its contents and appear empty. If a file is copied into the folder, an error message displays saying "The file already exists".
The same thing can happen when using WebDav/Mapped drive to view files in Centerbase.
The cause of this is typically the character limit of the file path and file name within Windows, which is around 256 characters.
For example, this file path and name are 257 characters total and would not display in Windows file explorer: I:\Clients\Whittels, Cari\GOP&E - Dallas County Probate Court No. PR-12-0332222-3 (Adult)\8. Accountings & Reports\Annual Inventory GOER\Back Up\Estate Assets\02. Wells Fargo Statements\2020\Wells Fargo Checking Transactions 04.2020-05.2020 (NG edits).docx
It would, however, display correctly in Centerbase. So the first step in troubleshooting is to verify that it is available in Centerbase through Documents>File Explorer.
If so, then the path and/or the file name needs to be shortened in order to display in Windows. There is no configuration setting within Centerbase that will allow for that to display as it is a Windows settings.
Also, if one file has the issue, none of the files in that same folder will display.
