Matter Dashboard Tile: Unbilled Costs

What does the Unbilled Costs tile show? 

The Unbilled Costs tile shows any costs (expenses) that have not been added to a bill. By defaults, that number only includes Hard Costs. For more information on the difference between the two, see the article, Hard Costs vs. Soft Costs - What's the Difference? – Centerbase. 

Can the tile be changed to show both types of expenses? 

Yes, it can. To make that change, go to System Settings=>System Configuration => Advanced Configuration. 

Scroll to the very bottom of the Advanced Configuration settings and the very last setting is called Matter. Here the type of costs shown in tile are determined by the number in the field. 

• Hard Costs = 1
• Soft Costs = 2
• Both = 3
