At the Contact or Client level, rate tables and rate exceptions can be managed by accessing the Rate Table page.
From the Rate Table screen, rates can be managed by;
- Use System Defaults - if this option is selected, billing for the contact or client will use the default rate table that can be configured from the System Settings.
- Prohibit Rate Changes on this Contact's Matters - if this option is selected, if will prevent any rate changes on Matters associated with the contact or client. If will apply rates identified from the Rate Table being used and Exceptions within the contact or client level.
- Rate Table - if the Use System Defaults is not selected, the Rate Table identified within the Rate Table section will be used for billing. Rate Tables can be configured within the Centerbase System Settings by accessing Manage Rates and selecting Rate Tables.
- Exceptions - if there's a need to adjust a Timekeeper's rate from the selected Rate Table, this can be done by adding an exception. If a rate exception is applied, it will show the Scheduled Rate of the Timekeeper from the Rate Table and the Effective Rate that will be used.
When saving changes made on Rate Table, it will provide options on how billing rates will be affected. By clicking on the Confirm button, it will save the settings.
