Some fields in Centerbase cannot be edit in the GUI, such as bill number, client ID, etc.. These are typically fields that are auto incremented or otherwise auto generated. By using a simple workflow, you can create a custom dialog to be able to edit these fields.
- Simply set up a workflow for the item you want this ability for..
- Next add a user action in the workflow. Name is something like ‘Update Client ID’.
- Add a form to the workflow action, and add the field you want to update in the form.
