Release Notes – 10.7

Hello Centerbase Family! 

Spring is nearly here, and we're here with a new update for you!

We have two integrations to announce with this release.

First, we have an integration with eBillingHub to help you import and bill expenses captured by their program.

Second, we have a new integration with LawToolBox for Microsoft 365. This will allow you to access your LawToolBox account from within Centerbase.

New Feature: New LawToolBox for Microsoft 365 Integration

This integration brings the experience of LawToolBox for Microsoft 365 into Centerbase, allowing users to send Centerbase Matters to LawToolBox 365 for creation and then to view those matters in LawToolBox from within the Centerbase matter. When deadlines are created by the user in LawToolBox, they are created in Outlook and will sync back to Centerbase’s calendar via the Outlook sync, if enabled. Contact your Customer Success Manager if you’re interested in purchasing this product.

Accounting

Fixed an issue where using the sort function in a reconciliation would lock the Filter options.
Fixed a bug in the Chart of Accounts that was not properly filtering for inactive accounts when also using the search option.

Accounts Payable

Changed Vendor Bill Refunds to credit Accounts Payable when using Accrual Accounting.
Fixed a bug that was assigning the original Billing Entry ID to entries on new Vendor Bills created from Memorized Vendor Bills.

Billing

Fixed a bug where newer bills were able to be backdated with an issue date prior to the previous bills' issue date.
Fixed a bug which was causing tax to be calculated on a bill with a discount, even if the billing entries were non-taxable.
Added Category to New Payment dialog when "Trust" is the selected Type.
Fixed a bug that was causing $0 bills to get assigned a bill number, even if "Add Bill Number to Statements" was unchecked in the System Settings.
Added page break before Remittance Copy on default Consolidated Bill Template (CB Template_Main)
Added a LEDES 1998B Bill for split billing that displays the parent billable hours and amount.
Added ability to download Consolidated Bill into LEDES 1998B format.

Calendar

Fix issue sending emails when marking one instance of recurring events complete, sends out invites for future events.
Addressed an issue where HTML code was showing when viewing descriptions on appointments.
Editing recurring task will not change block design on calendar

Docusign

Fixes bug that prevent Document Management Solution customers from using DocuSign integration.

EBilling Hub

Added eBillingHub functionality to send a snapshot of the bill and receipt attachments to eBH.

iManage.work

Matters

Fixed an issue where Matter Ledger and Matter Dashboards were not calculating Discounts and Interest into the totals, thus not matching the raw data.

Performance

Improved performance of saving large Trust Bank Transfers. Saving a TBT with 1000+ line items now saves in about one minute.
Improved performance of loading and downloading account registers with 1000+ transactions.

Reporting

Fixed an issue with the Trial Balance Report that was causing an error when trying to export a report with too many accounts.
Fixed an issue where General Ledger Report would error out when there were many accounts selected in the filter.
New Advance Reporting Data object for Matter Related hard costs

SSO

When a firm has been updated to the Auth0 login, the legacy 2FA setting will no longer appear in the System Settings.

Settings

Added "Can Manage Bank Account Security" to user profiles. This resolves an issue where resaving a user profile could cause a user to lose this permission.

Timekeeping

Fixed an issue that could cause the "Start timer" tool tip to persist on the screen after pressing the start timer button on the timesheet.
Added functionality to store the split method on billing entries for later reporting purposes.
