Transferring funds between matter trust accounts can easily be done from the Trust and Retainer Ledger. The Trust and Retainer Ledger is the only location in Centerbase where matter to matter transfers can be initiated.
This feature is useful for moving funds between a client's matter trust accounts, or correcting trust deposits that were mistakenly entered into the wrong matter account. Once a trust transfer is saved, both matters will show the transfer under the trust transactions tab.
To learn how to create matter to matter trust transfers, watch the video and follow our step-by-step guide below.
