Hello Centerbase Family!
Summer is here and with it our latest update. For the accounting admin they should look forward to the updates allowing for sorting and searching of Journal entries as well as the first phase of a new feature to help you void out vendor bills while voiding the check that paid them. We also as always have a verity of other fixes and improvements in the release. So before starting your summer plans take a moment to look over what the release notes.
Accounting
- Fixed an issue where GL Budgets with cents were rounding.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent the client ledger from being downloaded
- Users are now able to sort Journal Entries by date, reference number, or Credit/Debit.
- Users can now sort Journal Entries by various criteria base on the column.
- Added the ability to search all fields of the Journal Entries page, including the Details view.
Accounts Payable
- Users can now see and apply Vendor Bill Credits from within the Vendor Bill Payment dialog from the + menu.
- Added functionality to automatically close out Vendor Bills when a check paying the Vendor Bill is voided.
- Fixed an issue where Vendor Bill Invoice totals were not showing when "Save & New" button used.
Admin Tool
- Fixed an issue that could cause an error message when merging records in the admin tool
Banking
- Fixed an issue where transactions from Online Banking were duplicating on the Account Register when "Add" was used.
Billing
- Fixed a bug where users could see payments on inactive matters but were unable to reverse them.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the loading bar to not clear while exiting edit in ePre-Bill Approval.
- Fixed the Number of notifications going down when pre bills are approved.
- Fixed a bug that was causing the "Last Bill" field to be incorrect.
- Introduced some enhancements to improve performance. Payments now save much more quickly.
- Fixed an issue where users were getting a "Divide by 0" error when editing $0.00 invoices.
Calendar
- Fixed an issue where recurrence appointments could disappear from the day view
Conflict Check
- Fixed an issue was not recognizing quotes as quotes when copied and pasted into the search bar
iManage
- Fixed the error users were receiving when opening new matter workspaces
Matters
- Fixed an issue with the timekeeper Matter Metrix report what it was reporting expenses as well as fees
Timekeeping
- Fixed an issue where sites using SSO would see the user's email in the timekeeper name field. It will not display the username.
- Made it so that when a user checks "is flat rate?" on the time entry dialog the system resets the billable hours to equal the worked hours
- Limited the unsaved time entry warning to only appear if an actual change was made on the timesheet
General
- Continued to roll out security updates found identified in our internal security audit.
- The help button on various Centerbase pages now directs you to suppport.centerbase.com
- Fixed an issue where setting a form layout to Default did not save.
- Addressed an issue where HTML code sometimes showed in place of punctuation marks.
- Fixed an issue that was preventing users from updating their passwords form their user settings on sites that use SSO.
