Hello Centerbase Family!
It’s back-to-school time, so we’ve taken a chance to cross our T’s and dot our I’s by
turning in a release that’s largely bug fixes. As much as we love working on cool new
features, we want to make sure the features you already know and love are in tip-top
shape! Please take a look a look and let us know what you think!
Billing & Accounting
- Fixed an issue where the Adjusted Balance of the Three-Way Trust Reconciliation
was calculating as of the current date rather than the end date of the
reconciliation. Also relabeled the sections to reflect correctly: top section is the
bank balance, bottom is the book balance, which should tie with the client ledger. - Fixed an issue where payment made through the web copy could show the wrong
date in Centerbase if the payee was using a computer with DD/MM/YY date
formatting. - Fixed an issue where accounts with assigned sub-types were not in the correct
section of the Profit & Loss report and were not calculating into the totals of
income & expense properly. - Updated the unbilled entries tab of ePreBill Approval to show all unbilled time
entries rather than just unapproved time entries. - Fixed an issue where secondary billing codes on the line items tab of ePreBill
approval were not being limited to the class set in the matter settings. - Fixed a bug where trust deposits made after a bill was posted were not showing up on the real-time web copy.
Calendar
- Addressed a minor issue where an appointment organizer's availability was only
checked for scheduling conflicts once an additional attendee was added. - Fixed an error regarding scheduling conflict check that appeared when a non-Admin user created an appointment but had not yet added attendees.
- Resolved an issue in "Today's Tasks" where completed tasks were not showing
an updated status.
Dashboards
- Fixed an issue where users got an error when attempting to drill into data on a
table format dashboard chart.
Document Management
- Fixed an issue where if you used mass edit on documents to set "Share with
Portal" to true then you could not open the share with portal dialog from that
document anymore. Now it will default information that is missing when opening
the dialog.
- Fixed an issue with the Outlook Add-In where some emails were not being
attached if the email contained non-ASCII characters.
Matters
- Addressed an issue where rounding settings on the matter were not being
inherited from the Client settings.
Payments
- Fixed an issue that could cause an error when creating a payment.
- Addressed an issue that prevented withdrawals from Centerbase Payments
when certain conditions were met.
Practice Management
- Fixed an issue with formula fields where text info in root field could cause the
formula to fail. Now if a root field for a formula has text it will be treated as 0 or
blank based on field settings for blank filed.
Timekeeping
- Fixed an issue where updating a time entry with an active timer could trigger the
rounding settings and advance the timer to the next rounded point. - Fixed an issue where billable hours could not be set to 1 when marking a billing
entry as "is flat rate" if "show billable hours" is off.
